Trick-or-Treat!

Well, we just finished trick-or-treating, and we had a great night. It was warm, light out most of the time that we were out, and the boys had a blast! Logan told me, "We had lots of Halloween fun tonight Mom!" Most years we just take the boys to my mom and dad's house, my grandma and grandpa's, my aunt Donna's, and to a couple of our neighbors, but since it was so nice out tonight, we walked all around our neighborhood. It was fun, but we ended up with WAY more candy than anyone could possibly need or want. I thought Logan had planned on being a Hawkeye football player (because that's what he wore to his preschool Halloween party), but when we went to get dressed tonight for trick-or-treating, he told me that he wanted to be a bowhunter. So, we dug that outfit out instead and it worked just fine. Landon could have cared less a week ago that he was going to be a lion, but tonight he was really excited and even put his hood up for us for a little bit (which he refused to do last week when we went to a Halloween event at my school). Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!! We'll see how long our nice weather lasts...we are lucky because I remember one Halloween when my brother literally went trick-or-treating in a blizzard...CRAZY!!!

Farming with Grandpa!

I had the day off from school today, so my mom and I were able to take the boys out to ride the tractor with Grandpa Mick. My dad does some field work for the Titterington Family every fall, so we take advantage of some "real" tractor time for the boys every year around this time. Logan is convinced that Grandpa Mick owns the farm and the tractor...doesn't matter how many times we tell him he doesn't! After doing some field work, my mom and I took the boys to McDonald's, and now they are down for a nap to prepare for trick-or-treating tonight! The weather is great today, so trick-or-treating shouldn't be cold at all this year!!! I'm sure I'll be posting some Halloween pictures soon!
