14 Years!

It's been 14 years of marriage for Jeff and I today!  Forgive the horrible picture quality, as I don't have a scanner, so I took a picture of the picture (and fancy digital pictures or even picture CDs didn't seem to exist back when we got married).  We've had lots of great times, we've been through some horrible times, but I'm glad we have experienced them all together!

We had a great time at the zoo in Sioux Falls today, topped off with lunch at Fuddrucker's and a trip to the fireworks shop before heading back home!  Glad the weather cooperated!

Long Time Friends!

Yesterday, one of my long time friends, from clear back to 4th grade, came to visit from Arizona.  To celebrate the occasion, another childhood friend, Andrea, myself, and our friend Kerri (from Arizona) headed out to one of our all-time favorite restaurants, Woody's Pizza!  We all worked at the Arnolds Park location during summers in college, but that location is no longer open, so we had to travel to Estherville for the BEST pizza in the area!  It was fun to get together and reminisce, but realizing that we've been out of high school for 18 years makes me feel a little old!  :-)

Finally Feels Like Summer!

Well, since it is finally starting to feel like summer, with sunshine and warmer temperatures, the boys and I have started enjoying more summer activities!  We've been going to lots of parks, the Amusement Park, and now the beach and the slip and slide are two fun things we added to our list!

SO PROUD of this guy, who has come such a long way and is an inspiration to me and to others!  This to picture was Father's Day 2 years ago.  The bottom picture was taken yesterday for Father's Day.  Jeff has literally lost half of himself since January 2012!  THAT is what you call determination and will power!  We love him so much!

Our Growing Boys! Summer 2013

Today was a beautiful day, but not overly sunny, so I couldn't resist a chance to get out and take some photos of my growing boys!  This was the first time that BOTH boys had glasses for their pictures, and I found out just how difficult it is to get good photos with no glare on the glasses (and I wasn't overly successful with avoiding that glare)!  The boys did a pretty good job for me, and they enjoyed being down by the lake and being at the Nature Center to take these pictures for me!  They even came up with some of their own pose and location ideas!  We would walk around and one of them would say, "Hey Mom!  This looks like a good place for a picture!  What if I stand like this?"  :-)  Do you think I've done this often enough with them that they know what to expect now?  LOL!  We had fun, but I sure wish they would stop growing so fast!  It makes me sad!
