Logan's Music Program

After being such a rough day today (10 years since our daughter passed away), Logan's music program this afternoon and this evening sure brightened up my day!!  All the 1st and 2nd graders at Okoboji performed the songs they have been practicing for months, and they did an awesome job!  Logan was full of smiles up on stage with his classmates!  Their music teacher puts on the most wonderful programs!  What a great way to end a stressful day!  :)
Logan and his friends that he hangs out with before school!  They were pretty excited that it was finally their program day!!

Logan - All dressed up for his program!

Brooke's Angel Day

10 years ago today, we watched our precious daughter take her last breath.  She was 7 weeks and 1 day old.  It is a day and a moment I will never forget, and although time has helped to make it bearable, my heart still hurts.  We love you, Brooke Ann Duvall, and we dream of the day we will see you again and be able to rock with you for eternity!

Mr. C in His Colossal Cap

Today was an exciting day for Landon!  The kindergartners had their Letter People Parade!!  Each year, after the kindergartners have learned all of their letters and sounds, they have a Letter People Parade, and all the other students in the building line the hallways to watch them!  Letter People are puppets that represent each letter of the alphabet and it's sound, so on parade day, whatever letter the kids are assigned, they dress up like that puppet.  Landon was Mr. C in his Colossal Cap!  It just so happens that Logan was also Mr. C in kindergarten, so it worked out well for us as we had the outfit already!  I may have been able to pull a few strings with that one since I'm a teacher and I have an "in" with my co-worker/Landon's teacher.  :)  It was fun to see him so excited for this!!

Valentine Photo Shoot

Yesterday I decided to try to capture a few cute pictures of the boys for Valentine's Day, so we had a mini-photo shoot!  While the pictures sure did not turn out so great (horrible lighting on the background), we had fun being goofy while taking them!  Hugs and Kisses from Logan and Landon!!
