Hawkeye Fans!

Well, the Outback Bowl Game did not turn out in favor of the Hawkeyes today, but we cheered them on to the very end!  Win or lose, we love our Hawkeyes!

Happy 2014!!

We rang in the new year last night by having my parents over for a home-cooked (by Jeff) prime rib meal and birthday cake for Brooke's birthday!  The boys enjoyed a few games of air hockey with Grandma Bonnie, and opened some toys they had gotten for Christmas that they knew Grandpa Mick would help them put together and learn how to use.  Once my parents headed home, we played a few competitive games of UNO, watched Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, and Jeff and the boys actually stayed up until midnight with me this year!  It's the first year I had all three of them awake with me when the clock struck midnight!  Oh my, how my New Year's Eves have changed since having kids, but I wouldn't want to spend them any other way!
