Slippin' Into Summer!

Well, as posted the other day, Logan got a Slip and Slide for his Pre-K graduation present, so to kick summer vacation off on Saturday, the boys decided to give the Slip and Slide a try! Logan loved it and quickly figured out how to get a running start in order to slide as far as possible. Landon, on the other hand, did not figure that out and eventually slipped backward, while trying to run ON the slide, and bonked his head. At that point, he decided the Slip and Slide was not for him! All he cared about was after we turned the contraption off, he could splash in the puddles that were left behind! I think he'll come around and try it again though. Hopefully we can have more fun times this summer with this fun, new toy!

Logan Loses Another Tooth!

Well, Logan lost another tooth today, this being his third one. However, this tooth did not come out in a traditional way. Landon knocked his brother's tooth out by pushing a Wal-Mart shopping cart at Logan...OUCH! The tooth has been loose forever it seems like, but I can't imagine it felt good to have it knocked out! I was not there to witness it, but from what I hear, it was all an accident and Landon felt quite bad about having done this to his brother. Daddy had to leave Wal-Mart with a screaming child with a bloody mouth...not fun! In the end, Logan is happy that the tooth fairy should be by tonight to leave a little cash for that tooth, and Landon has long gotten over feeling sorry for his brother!

More Pics of Logan's Pre-K Graduation

Here are a few more pictures of Logan with his teacher, Miss DeMuth, and the teacher associate in his class, Mrs. Feld. Both were godsends to Logan and our family! There are also a couple of pictures of Logan with his graduation gifts...Grandma and Grandpa Umscheid gave him $10 and Mommy, Daddy, and Landon got him a Cars Slip and Slide! What a lucky guy!!

Logan's Pre-K Graduation

Well...he did it! Logan made it through Pre-K with flying colors! That's not to say that the year didn't start off a little rough with him crying every day that I dropped him off at his classroom, but he got through that and had a GREAT year! He learned SO MUCH and we are very proud of him! I am thankful that he had a wonderful teacher and classroom associate that were so kind and patient and fun! He is already getting nervous about starting kindergarten in the fall, therefore I am too, but I know he will adjust to that just like he did Pre-K, and hopefully have another great year next year! In the meantime, we are just going to enjoy summer break!!!

Messy Landon!

Note to self: Don't let a 3 year old eat a chocolate candy bar on a 90 degree day!

Fun at Uncle Ben and Alyssa's House!

The boys always have fun when we head out to Uncle Ben and Alyssa's house! They love to play with the cats and dogs, and now Alyssa even has baby chicks to entertain them! We'll see what the boys think of the chickens in a few months when they are grown up and not so cute anymore!
