Last Day of School 2015!
I can't believe the school year has come to an end already! Landon completed 2nd grade and is ready for 3rd grade next year! Logan completed 4th grade, which means he moves on to the middle school next year! Crazy! They both had great years! Landon's teacher was Mrs. Martin, and Logan's teacher was Mrs. Daggett.
Logan's Confirmation
Although Logan is pretty young, he chose to go through a confirmation class offered at our church, in combination with a church in Langdon (our pastor is married to the pastor of the Langdon church). Both Logan and I were unsure about this, since he was so young, but we ended up LOVING it, and both of us learned SO MUCH! I was also a confirmation mentor for a girl in our church, Kylan Green, so I got to be involved, both as a parent, and a mentor. Logan's mentor was Tim Hemphil, and they could not have been a better match! It was a fun time with a great group of kids!
Logan - 4th Grade Demonstration Fair - May 2015
Each year, the 4th graders (the grade I teach) have a Demonstration Fair. It's a little bit like a Science Fair, only students get to choose something that is a hobby, etc to demonstrate. Logan found a cool project called Nail String Art. He did a great job presenting at the fair!
