Des Moines Vacation - Day 4

On the last day of our little vacation, we swam some more in the hotel pool, played a few more arcade games and exchanged our tickets for prizes (Logan finally realized that for the money you put into the arcade games, the prizes are a real rip off), and then went jumping at Sky Zone! It was a GREAT trip with lots of awesome memories, but we are also always glad to come back HOME! :)

Des Moines Vacation - Day 3

Day 3 of our trip included going to a local pool in Clive, which included 3 water slides (one was an awesome drop slide), a diving board, basketball hoop, regular swimming pool, splash pad, and lazy river, and then we went to an Iowa Cubs game at Principal Park! The boys LOVED both of the events of this day (not that they didn't love the others), and I think the baseball game ranked at the top of their "Favorites" list! Another "Favorite" of the boys today was getting new football cleats! I guess these are "the cool" kind? They were pretty excited!

Des Moines Vacation - Day 2

Can you say "BUSY DAY?" Day 2 - A trip to the Blank Park Zoo (which was an awesome zoo...just the right size), lunch at chuck E. Cheese, going to the Iowa State Capitol, supper at the Machine Shed, and then yet more swimming and arcade time at the hotel!

Supper at the Machine Shed - a nice old farmer even took us for a tractor ride after supper! It was lame because he just drove us through some hotel parking lots and back around to the resturant, but the boys liked the idea of riding behind a tractor!
