Logan's 1st Day of First Grade!
It is hard for me to believe I sent Logan to his 1st day of 1st grade today! Actually, Jeff got to take the boys on their first day since I had to get ready for the 21 4th graders coming to my classroom! Logan was very nervous this morning before I left for work (he shed many tears), and he was still a little nervous when Jeff dropped him off at his classroom, but he didn't cry when he got to school, and he had a GREAT day! He came to my room when the day was finished and was so excited about his day! He loves his teacher and had fun! Now that he got the first day out of the way, I think he will be fine. I wish Logan his best school year yet, filled with friends, fun, and lots of learning!Landon's 1st Day of Pre-K!
Today, my baby headed to Pre-K! He's been so excited to finally start school at "Mommy and Logan's School" and he wasn't nervous at all on his first day! He loves his teacher and teacher's helper and told me that the best part of his day was that he made LOTS of new friends! :) He is so happy that his best bud, Nick, is in his class, along with 2 other kiddos he enjoys that were in his preschool class last year! The other big highlight of his day was his first bus ride! After pre-k is over (he only goes for the morning), he gets to ride the bus to Grandma's house, and he's been waiting to do this for 2 years since Logan got to do that! I hope he has a wonderful year, makes lots of great friends, and learns a lot!

Sioux Falls Vacation 2011
It has become a yearly summer tradition that Jeff takes his vacation to Sturgis, my dad takes his vacation to Boy Scout Camp, and my mom and I take the boys to Sioux Falls. Although my dad did not get to go to scout camp this summer due to shoulder surgery, Jeff is still heading to Sturgis, and my mom and I took the boys to Sioux Falls. The boys LOVE going to the hotel to swim at the indoor waterpark, and they are also always so excited to go to Chuck E. Cheese! My mom and I also try to do back-to-school clothes shopping with the boys so they can try stuff on for us, and although shopping with boys is a nightmare, we can usually accomplish the task of buying their school clothes as long as there is a bribe of going to the toy store to pick something out! :) Now it seems my mom and I need our own vacation so we can do what WE want to do! At 4 and 6, Landon and Logan didn't let us do much relaxing or shopping, so I'm dreaming for a vacation from our vacation!
