Landon - Beach 2010

Logan - Beach 2010

Sioux Falls Zoo 2010

Well, this year's trip to the Sioux Falls Zoo was fabulous since it was the first year we have had NO STROLLER and NO DIAPERS!!! What a difference that made! As usual, the boys had a pretty fun time seeing all the animals, riding the train, and Logan always loves a ride on the carousel (Landon refused to take a ride this year). Both of them tell me their favorite part was when they saw the bear itching his butt by rubbing it on the wall! LOL! Of course that would be their favorite! The boys also walked away from the gift shop with way more items than they needed, but they behaved so well, my mom and I couldn't help but spoil them a little bit! We topped off our trip with lunch at McDonald's (the boys' favorite, not mine), then it was nap time for the boys on the ride home. Fun day!

Mini-Golfing

Tonight we took the boys miniature golfing for the first time to Treasure Village, just outside of Milford! They LOVED it! It was a lot of work for Jeff and I, however, to teach them some of the rules and strategies of the game (and keep them from swinging clubs at each other)! Both of them did a great job, but they need to work on taking turns. At times, Logan was two or three holes ahead of Landon...he was just so excited he couldn't wait! All of the holes have a storybook/fairytale theme, so they enjoyed seeing what tale the next hole would represent! I think this will be a fun, family passtime that we will all enjoy this summer! Logan is also excited to go back to Treasure Village and watch their live version of the play, Alice in Wonderland!

Logan - Tball

Logan is now about half way through his first ever season of t-ball, and so far, he is really enjoying it! It helps that Jeff is one of his coaches, and one of his friends is on his team as well, otherwise he would usually be too shy to do a team sport like this. He is already talking about when he can go out for football and wrestling this upcoming year though, so hopefully he will stick to trying out a few more sports! Of course, I'm pretty sure after this go at being a t-ball coach, Jeff will not be volunteering any more coaching time for awhile! LOL! He found it's A LOT of work to get pre-k and kindergarten kids to do what they are told and get the hang of a game that most of them have never truly played before!
