Boji Splash Waterpark!!

Our boys...having fun together at the waterpark!!

Boji Splash Waterpark - Landon

Landon was a little more "unsure" about his trip to the waterpark than his big brother was! For about the first 30 minutes, he wouldn't even dip his toes in the water! But after we were there for a bit, he was swimming around just like Logan! The only thing we couldn't get Landon to do was take a ride around the Lazy River with Jeff, but we're glad he is somewhat overcoming his fear of the water! He was the same way last summer when we would take the boys swimming at the lake, so maybe this summer he'll actually spend some time in the water when we trek to the beach! Of course, by then, we are hoping to be rid of the binky which you can see in many of his pictures...the kid is ADDICTED!!

Boji Splash Waterpark - Logan

Since Logan has been begging us to go to a hotel and go swimming, Jeff and I decided to solve the problem and take the boys swimming at Bridges Bay - Boji Splash waterpark. The waterpark is right here in Okoboji, so we didn't have to pay for the hotel or spend the night anywhere, and on Sundays, it only costs $5 per person to get into the waterpark...a deal for both the boys, as well as Jeff and I!! Logan had a BLAST!! At only $20 for our whole family to go on Sundays, we could go to the waterpark 5 times for what it costs to go somewhere and stay in a hotel!! Plus this pool is awesome for little kids!! The little kid portion of the pool doesn't go any deeper than about 14 inches, so the boys couldn't get to water that was too deep for their safety...it was wonderful! Logan was all about this place!

Valentine's

It's Friday the 13th, but the boys got to celebrate Valentine's a little more today at Grandma Bonnie's daycare. They received a few more Valentine's from daycare buddies, but Grandma and Grandpa Umscheid got the boys a special gift that they love so much...the movie "Space Buddies!" They've already watched it and just asked to watch it again! Our plans for tomorrow (actually Valentine's Day) is to spend some fun time together and take the boys to their favorite place to eat, McDonald's! Grandma and Grandpa Duvall were here last weekend and left a little Valentine treat for the boys, so they'll get to open those, as well as a little something Jeff and I got for them. As far as Jeff and I, we are just hoping for a night out to eat (without the boys) sometime in the near future, but who knows when that will happen?! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

My Little Valentines!!

Yesterday Logan got to have his first "school" Valentine party at preschool! He was so excited and had a good time! We sat down the night before and had him sign his name on each Valentine to his classmates...it took FOREVER, but he did a nice job and it was good practice for him to write his name that many times! He was very proud of his Valentine crown which he made at school. Of course, since Logan got to wear one of his Valentine shirts, Landon thought he should wear a Valentine shirt too! "Handsome Devil" and "Born 2 Break Hearts" describes both boys, so I thought they were too cute to pass up!

More Wrestling Photos

Usually when our crazy boys have a wrestling match, they think they need to take their shirts off, but tonight they wrestled in their underwear! (Landon thinks he is a big boy when he wears underwear over his diaper.) Since neither of the boys has "real" wrestling shoes, they thought they should wrestle with their snowboots on...I'm telling ya...our boys are silly!

Our Little Wrestlers

In our household, wrestling is the word! Jeff is hoping to get at least 1 wrestler, if not 2 out of our boys someday, so he started them pretty early! Logan does all of the moves that Jeff shows him, but he's kind of a wimp so far! Landon, on the other hand, won't listen to a word Jeff says, but has a lot of natural ability in him...he's a tough one, too! Landon usually ends up winning the matches! They are quite hilarious to watch! In 2 years, Logan will be old enough for youth wrestling, so we'll see if it's something he'll stay interested in or not. At any rate, Jeff is enjoying his time wrestling with his boys, quite often, in the middle of the living room!

Logan the Bully

Here is a picture of Logan pretending to be the bully from the movie, A Christmas Story. The bully in the movie wears a coonskin hat just like this. He is hilarious! He has the whole movie memorized. He watched the movie about 500 times around Christmas time, and I finally had to put it away and tell him he can't watch it again until next Christmas - we were all getting pretty sick of it!

Naughty Landon

Here is what happens when Landon is coloring with marker and Mommy walks away for a minute!
