Trip to Omaha

Last weekend, we made a trip to Omaha for my cousin Luke's wedding! The trip was a great time and a disaster all at once! The wedding was beautiful and it was great to see many members of the Umscheid side of my family! Shortly after the wedding, Logan complained of a headache. We took him to a hotel room and he spent the rest of the day battling his headache - vomitting and sleeping. I felt horrible for the poor guy. All he wanted to do on this trip was to go swimming, and for awhile, it didn't look like that would happen for him. After an entire day fighting his headache, he was able to swim for a little bit before it was bedtime again! Then he was up at 4:30 on Sunday morning ready to go swimming again! LOL! Jeff took the boys swimming at 6:30 in the morning, and they swam for 3 HOURS! They were wrinkled prunes and exhausted after that, making for a pretty nice car ride home! Landon, on the other hand, had a great time the whole trip! Secretly though, I think he missed his brother when Logan wasn't able to go swimming with him!
