Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny made a stop at our house last weekend, and boy were the boys happy and surprised when they woke up on Easter morning to see what he had left for them! Each boy got a lap desk with several art supplies (including a dry erase board and markers), lots of candy (including gum, which is their favorite), some bubbles, and a water shooter! Jeff and I spoiled the boys a bit too and bought them each a new pair of baseball shoes for the summer! Of course, they also got baskets FULL of goodies from Uncle Ben & Aunt Alyssa, as well as Grandma & Grandpa, who also got them passes for the Amusement Part for this summer! About another month and we will be spending plenty of time at the Amusement Park and enjoying our summer break!!

Buck Hunters In Training

The new "favorite" game around our house is the Buck Hunter game that you hook into your TV. Jeff showed the boys how to use it, and they've been addicted ever since! Landon just shoots and shoots and never aims...every once-in-awhile he actually hits something. Logan, on the other hand, is quite the sharp shooter and can hit almost everything! No matter how good or bad either one of them is, I wouldn't want to be in the woods with them with real guns just yet!

We're Going to Have a Cousin!

A couple of weeks ago, the boys' Uncle Ben and Aunt Alyssa came over to our house to tell the boys that they are going to be having a BABY! The boys were shocked and SO EXCITED that they are FINALLY going to have a cousin!

Look Mom! I Don't Need Training Wheels!

Last Saturday was a BIG day at our household, as, not only did Landon learn to ride his bike with NO training wheels, but he taught HIMSELF how to do it! Jeff and I were in Spring cleaning mode in and outside of the house when I noticed Landon was on one of our two-wheeled bikes. Knowing that he didn't yet know how to ride a two-wheeled bike, I went over to the driveway to help him try to learn how. Right away he said to me, "Mom, I can do it myself!" So I backed off. After I saw that the bike seat was low enough for him to reach the ground with his feet and that he was just scooting around the driveway pushing himself with his feet, I went back to some yard work. Not 10 mintues later I hear Landon yelling at me, "Mommy! I'm doing it!" Sure enough, he was riding on 2 wheels like he'd been doing it for years! LOL! The video below doesn't do his riding skills justice, but I was able to capture one of his first rides with no training wheels. The kid amazes me! He is DETERMINED for sure! We are so proud of him!
