Logan's School Christmas Program
Logan also had a school Christmas program early in December. This was his first time performing in band (he plays drums, and 5th grade is the first year we have band at our school), and they also have a 5th grade choir. They did a great job! I couldn't get many pictures because, 1)Logan is short :), and 2) drummers stand clear at the back of the stage, behind everyone else!
Landon's School Christmas Program
Early in December, Landon had his 3rd grade Christmas program. The music was cute and helped get us in the holiday spirit! Landon even debuted his skill playing bells during the program!
Logan Turns 11!
Logan turned 11 the Sunday following our Hawkeye football experience, so we celebrated plenty while in Iowa City, but we also celebrated his birthday on Thanksgiving at Aunt Donna's house!
We are so proud of the young man Logan is becoming! he is in middle school and definitely has the sassy mouth associated with the age, but he is a GREAT helper around the house (the kid knows how to work, for sure), he's getting excellent grades in all of his classes, and he's just an overall good guy!
We love you to infinity and beyond, Logan!

Hawkeye Game - November 21
So, apparently, I'm WAY BEHIND in my posts, so I am attempting to catch up! Make sure to scroll to older posts in case my new posts go beyond this page.
Back towards the end of November, Jeff and I took the boys to the Hawkeye football game vs. Purdue. Not only did we have a blast, but we witnessed history, too! We watched the Hawkeyes become 11-0 for the first time in school history, and we attended the game in 6-8 inches of snow! We were prepared with our warm clothes/snow clothes, so it was really a lot of fun!

Logan was given this drum stick by a senior drummer in the Hawkeye marching band!
This was perfect because, not only did Logan just start playing the drums in band this year, but his birthday was the next day! He said this was the most awesome birthday present (the drum stick AND the experience of the Hawkeye game)!

Birthday Party Fun!
Logan and Landon both wanted to invite their friends to go ice skating for their birthday parties, so we combined and had one big birthday party at the skating rink tonight! Fifteen 3rd and 5th graders made for a crazy, but fun night!
