The proud graduate, all spiffed up for his graduation program
Nice cap, Landon!

A little cake and ice cream at our house after the program
Today was Landon's Pre-K graduation, and he was so excited, yet sad, for this day to come! He couldn't wait for the last day of school and for summer vacation to start, but he is really sad about leaving his teacher, his classroom, and some of his friends as he moves on to kindergarten next year. :( He went to school this morning and the kiddos practiced for their program at the high school, then they got to go to our town park and play with their friends. Since parents were invited attend the fun, I took the day off to spend with my graduate! After the park with friends, we went to lunch at Bob's Dogs on the lake, then to McDonald's for a milk shake - YUM at both stops! Our afternoon consisted of picking up his graduation cake, then playing catch with the baseball---for what seemed like FOREVER. The final part to his day was his graduation ceremony. All the kids did a great job singing their songs and showing what they've learned this year! As each student was receiving their award from the principal, their teacher told the audience what they wanted to be when they grow up. Landon's plans are to be a fireman! It will be fun to see what he actually becomes one day, but for now, I want to cherish him being little! We celebrated the end of this big day with cake and ice cream at our house. Grandma and Grandpa Umscheid, Uncle Ben, Aunt Alyssa, and cousin Eli all joined in the fun! What a great end to a great day! We are proud of you, Landon!
