Landon is following in the footsteps of his dad and wearing glasses! I took him for a kindergarten eye check up, and we left with a prescription for glasses! He has astigmatism, causing blurred vision, and the doc is also trying to strengthen his "lazy eye" (which I had no idea he had) so that we can avoid him having to go through vision therapy (which happens once a week in Sioux Falls for 8 weeks). I think I was more nervous and worked up about Landon having to get glasses than he was. Of course, running through my mind are all the thoughts of "How many times will these glasses be lost, bent, broken, etc?" So far, he takes very good care of them and is very responsible with them, but we'll see how it goes once the "newness" wears off! I have to say, he looks awfully adorable in his glasses (which HE picked out)!
